Beep, buzz, chirp….
Every morning I awake to some common noises, and some not so common.
The most common are what every school family is dealing with: alarm clocks waking sleepy kids, showers running, coffee pots percolating. Then of course the mad frenzy of getting two kids out the door, and my husband on his merry way to the office.
Then there is silence.
But not really. Next comes the chirping of my twitter feeds, the dinging of my RSS alerts, and the crescendo of my Inbox letting me know that there are things to read, articles to research, and work to be done.
Part of my role at MJ2 Marketing is to lead our research so that we can track and monitor, and “listen” to what the digital world is saying about our customers. We research, dig, and purge information twice daily to maximize our customers’ online experience. We also source competitors, aggregate data from several different news sources, and check the RSS feeds for timely, and virtual information that we can pass along. Part of this service also includes checking for any negative feedback/postings along the way.
About 7:32, my iphone starts ringing, and that is usually Megan with the daily task list….(or as Katelin and I like to call it, “The Download”.
