All You Need to Know to Get Started with Google+
Google recently launched Google+ or Google Plus – their version of a social network to compete with facebook. It resembles facebook and twitter with a streaming newsfeed, ability to comment, +1 (similar to LIKE on facebook), and most important is the ability to segment your friends into “circles” for sharing information.
Google+ has five basic components: Circles, Sparks, Hangouts, Instant Uploads and Huddle. It also requires a Google profile, meaning you’ll need to provide Google, at minimum, with a name and a photo.
